Goal: In recent years, Artificial Intelligence has advanced rapidly. To accelerate AI’s societal impact, Georgia Tech-Emory Biomedical Engineering Department has spear-headed Biomedical AI with a focus on Safe, Trustworthy, Actionable, and Responsible AI  (STAR-AI) since 2024 with annual event. The 2026 Biomedical STAR-AI event will focus on exploring AI applications to real world problems, and discuss opportunities in Research and Education as two 1-day events.
